Hi, we’re Bryan & Kate.

We’re based in Ojai, CA and the owners of Making Waves, as well as the the founders of Sun & Swell Foods. We’ve spent the past 5+ years growing Sun & Swell from $0 to $1M+ (and we’re now on our way to $10M!).

Along the way, we worked in every shared kitchen space you can imagine - our home kitchen, restaurants, shared commercial kitchens, graveyard shifts at other manufacturing plants…until ultimately we moved into our own space in Ventura.

Through this experience, we realized there’s a huge need for up-and-coming, purpose-driven brands to have a dedicated manufacturing space to launch and start to scale their businesses.

Our goal is to help you get to the point where you can take the next big step (like opening your own facility or moving to a copacker). But until then, we want to make the experience of making your product as easy as possible.
